What we buy

We buy selectively, and we'll always be straight with you about fit. The easiest place to start is a collection with a few clear highlights — no card-by-card spreadsheet needed.

Graded cards

PSA, SGC, BGS, and other professionally graded sports cards.

Vintage

Older cards with recognizable players, strong eye appeal, and honest condition notes.

Rookies & stars

Key rookies, Hall of Famers, established stars, and meaningful player lots.

Autographs & numbered

Certified autos, serial-numbered parallels, and other scarce modern cards.

Non-sports & TCGs

Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and other non-sports or trading card game collections.

Memorabilia & sealed

Signed items, collectible memorabilia, and sealed card products. Include any authentication paperwork, labels, or condition concerns in your photos.

We generally are not purchasing standalone boxes of common cards, heavily damaged cards, or ordinary late-1980s and early-1990s bulk unless they are part of a larger collection with stronger material.

What to photograph

Start with two or three phone photos: all the boxes or binders, a representative group, and any cards you think matter. Not sure which cards are strongest? Photograph a typical page or handful. For memorabilia, show the full item, signatures, condition, and any authentication paperwork. Do not remove cards from protective holders.

We want the process to be clear before you spend time photographing the collection.

Do you buy every collection?

No. We review sports cards, non-sports cards, TCGs, and memorabilia, then purchase selectively based on condition, authenticity, resale demand, and our current inventory needs.

Do you provide free appraisals?

This process evaluates collections that may be sold to Kentucky Card Traders. We do not provide formal insurance, estate, or written appraisals.

Will I receive full eBay value?

A dealer offer is a purchase price for the collection as a whole. Mike starts with realistic sold prices, then allows for selling fees, shipping, the work of preparing and selling the cards, and cards that may take longer to sell. Selling cards individually yourself may bring more money; selling together can save that work. You can decline an offer.

When and how do I get paid?

Before an appointment, we agree on a payment method. After inspection, Mike confirms the exact items and purchase price with you. Items change hands only after you accept the offer and payment is confirmed. There is no guaranteed purchase or payment amount.

Can I drop cards off?

Only by prior arrangement after we review the online submission.

Can I mail cards?

Do not mail cards until the collection has been reviewed and shipping instructions have been provided.

Do you buy inherited collections?

Yes. Photos of the entire collection and its most notable cards are the best place to start.
